Invisible Me By Wendy Binks

 What’s it about?
Invisible Me is the 3rd book in WA author, Wendy Binks’, popular Stripey series. All of Stripey’s many animal friends have a special place where they can be invisible. But how do they do it? Stripey tries to hide in their special places too but he doesn't become invisible. How are all the animals becoming invisible? Stripey ventures out on a quest to find HIS special place where HE can be invisible.

What do I think?
One word to describe this book: ADORABLE! As usual Wendy Binks has provided the world with yet another gorgeous Stripey tale. This picture book is a beautiful, colourful and fun depiction of Australian animals and wildlife. Binks is extraordinarily clever in the way she has illustrated this book; hiding all these Australian creatures amongst the rocks, red dirst and bush and still keeping the pages looking so crisp and clean. The camouflage fooled me!

Can you spot the animal in the tree?
This is a wonderfully cheerful Australian picture book that I highly recommend for all children. A great one to send overseas! Kids (and adults) will love spotting all the animals hidden throughout it’s colourful and uniquely Australian pages.
